We can trust movies to represent true history,as sometimes movies are created based on a true or historical story.Or the script writers got their inspiration from historical events.People sometimes create movies based on history to let people understand and know how the history is like and what happened,or it lets people know the past people's life and situation.It also serves as an educational documentary to let others know more about history and also help them in their studies.The old,boring,documentaries are transformed into interesting,action-packed movies that motivate,inspire,excites people to develop an interest for history in a fun way.Sometimes directors can filmed history events in different types of ways with just some special effects and add-on parts to make the story nicer and have a moral,watching movies are now not only a form of leisure,hobby,but also an educational,action-packed comedies,sad story or happy endings,etc.

Actually the story would not normally be true history as like in the movie 300,the story has changed and only a small amount in the movie is base on the real story.Some movies are totally not real like cartoon type of movies,even movies like Harry Potter is not true,cause there are no magic in this world as it does not exist.People may want to use information in the movies because they trust them,it is based on a persons opinions whether he or she wants to believe it.If want to check if the information in the movies is true we can check the internet.So i think that sometimes we can trust while other maybe we cannot.

I dont think that we can trust movies to represent true history. This is because as scriptwriters, and the people behind the making of the movie, they would only care about how much they would earn in the end. As true history is always referred to "old" and "uninteresting", and might not attract much attention for people to watch it. However, the scriptwriters can change the story anyway they like so as to make it interesting and have an attractive plot or storyline, thus attracting more viewers, which means more money rolling in. Thus, I think that movies cannot represent true history.

As, directors of the movie would surely modify some parts to make the story more interesting and attract more people to watch the story. When they modify something, they do not represent true history already. For example the 300 story was not really true as acctually the people of greek were not lightly dress like in the story and there was more then 300 people. Thus, it shows that movie cant be trusted to represent true history.Directors of movie only want to make money.

i think that we cant trust movie to represent true history but not all movies are made acording to history. Some movies are thought to be made according to history but it turned out the other way. Even if the movie is based on true history but is re modified, we cant blame the director as the make movies for a living. As history is "uninteresting" to some, the director would surely have the idea of changing some parts of the movies. Therefore we should not believe everything we see as movies are usually made for entertainment purposes and not to present reality.

i think that we cannot trust movies to represent true history. though some movie may be according to the history,though most are not according to history because directors usually just want to earn money to make the movie interesting and attractive that would attract audience attention. they have to make the story more catchy that people would bother to watch it when it is in the movies. History is something that people would not want to know since it is rather boring and it can be studied through books which people would rather not know as it is the past and may not be something important. therefore we cannot believe that movies are according to history since they are usually made to earn money and for other purposes.

We can only trust some movies to be base on true history.Some stories like 300, in media lessons, we found out that it does not really represent true history. There is only part of the history in the movie. Some movie, we can trust them to represent true history, example is a documentary movie.since it is a documentary, it must be true. While the rest of the movies may just have part of the historical events inside them and maybe the ending wad changed.Some of the reasons why directors want to change the true history of a story is because they think that the history is too boring and more people like entertainmnet so he change the storyline.

I think that we cannot trust movies to represent true history.the movie 300 only shoes a part of history and some of the history that they shown are wrong. The directors only change the history to attract people to see his movie so that it would make more money.The movie that they filmed should tell the people that the movie does not represent true history so that people would not learn anything from that movie.

i think that we cannot totally trust movies to represent history. i think this way because most of the movie director only wanted to make money,and does not make a movie based on the true history, but in a way that it can attract people's attention. they would not only change the story line, but also the dressing, and the appearance of the characters.

we should not trust movies to represent history.we might not no whether which chapter is true or false.take some war movies for example,some guy head got blown off. it is a account of a person who participated in the real war but who knows? maybe he is just saying something exciting to the director just to earn money?
ReplyDeleteall those movies are just trying to make the movie more exciting so he could attract people to watch his movie. so do not trust what the movie shows,nobody know whether it is real or fake.
i think we cannot trust movies to represent history as the movie would be not according to to real history.they will somehow change some parts/conflicts or character to make the movie more exciting and interesting(to attract more attention).they can also change the oringinal story line of the story,and only have some important parts related to the real history or legend.thus,we should not trust movies and think that they are 100% true.if we want to know about the real history we can research for more infomation.

I think that we cannot trust movies to represent history. this is because the directors would do a change to the whole story. Some war movies show some unrealistic things like the people had their heads and bodies chopped off. this is quite unrealistic because during wars, many people were killed instead of having their bodies and heads cut off. Some movies are related to legends or the opinion of what people say about them. I feel that the main purpose people make history movies is to catch people's attention and to earn more money. We should not learn history through this types of movies as they may not be realistic.

We cannot trust some movies to represent history. The directors of the movies created movies only to make money. He would try means to make the movie interesting,even edit it. Directors would only worry about how many people are going to watch the movie as it determines how much they can earn. We know that some people cannot tolerate history since it is quite boring and not many might want to watch it, so the director would have to edit the story a little so that it could be more interesting and people would not fall asleep during the movie. People usually would onlydo things that benefit us as that is human nature. The directors might think that how would making a movie with true history would help them if people would not want to watch them? So, they would edit parts of the story to make it interesting just so that people would want to watch the movie. Thus, we cannot trust movies to represent true history since the makers of the movie would only want to care about earning money through movies.

I think that those history movie cannot be trusted. Like the 300 which teacher showed us the trailer, those soldier and the so called 'immortal is so fake, wearing some clothes and holding 2 japanese swords. And when the teacher shown us other immortals, the difference between them is very big. The directors will have made those character like that because of earning more money and attract more people to watch. If we are curious to find out, we must research on wether the movie shown is true or false. So before confirming the truth of wat the movie shown, we should only watch the movie and not believe wat the movie is really the truth.

think that we cannot trust movies to represent ture history . As majorities , most people filmed movies mainly to earn money . As they are critically thinking of ways to attract people to watching the movie which by making things look more interesting , dramatic and so on , there is for sure , scenes and plot edited to meet the standard . I believe that some movies are edited until the true stories are beyond regonisation by people to make the movies a big hit so as to achieve their aims of having money rolling in as much as possible . However , there are also people who filmed mainly because of interest , or wanted the stories to be known to others . But I believes that even though , there are still some parts modified and the place these people holds is less than a quarter . Overall , I think that we should not trust movies to represent true history as people would modify them to make the movie attractive enough for people to come forward and watch , thus earning money .

I think we have to depend on the situation. If the director or producer of the movie actually believes that the movie can represent true history, then he will, but if he is aiming for the money, it may not be so. Many are curious about how the people and the events of history work about so, many producers take this as an advantage and make it into their own use. The movies are specifically edited to fit the plot of the stories. It is filmed in a way that it attracts many to watch it but are unrealistic in many ways. Since it attracts, money rolls in as people come in to take a look in the cinemas.

I think should depends on the situation. For example, in some situations, the plot is impossible. Hence in that timing, it is best not to trust them, although there might be some truth behind. Due to the fact that many people would like to know about the past, some sly directors will take advantages of this and twist the original truth. However, in some cases, the truth is clearly shown in the movie Only then can we trust it.

Some movies may be talking about a true story or history but to attract more people to watch the movie, the director of the movie changes the features. Throughout the changes, the movie may seem very unreal and if the people watching it thought that they are watching a movie that illustrates a history completely,they would be receiving the wrong infomation. These wrong information may be passed on to other people and more and more people would get the wrong idea of the history. Although some part of the movie may be real, it is not totally real.

Movies cannot be used to represent true history 100% of the time.Some examples of fiction include cartoons,which are extremely unreal.In other occasions,true stories may be used to attract the audience.Sometimes,the wrong information can be passed through movies and people would get the wrong idea.It would be passed from one person to another.Most of the time,it depends on the situation when a movie is being shown to the audience.

No, we definitely cannot trust movies to represent true history as movies are secondary sources, which means they are the records of people who did not directly participate in or witness the events they have described. Movies are basically being watched for entertaining, nobody will want to waste their time on movies based on the true history, they will surely change some parts of it to hilarious scenes e.t.c. with the main purpose of just to earn more money and attract more viewers to watch the movie as true histories are usually very boring hence, the producer have to change the parts of it in order to make it more of the interesting to watch. Nobody will care whether if the movies which are filmed are based on true history or story anot. Therefore, movies cannot be trust to watch if they want them to represent true history.

I think not all movies are made to represent history but those who are made to portray history are most of the time more fake than real. Movies maybe an "advertisement" for history or a way to attract people to watch the show. Those who are interested about the history behind the story and did not know about it at all maybe attracted to the history after watching it and they can research it on the internet or through other sources. Other people who are only interested in watching the exciting movie and do not want to understand the movie's origin. For the people who do not want to know the history, there is a very flashy show for them and they walk away thinking that it was worth the money. Those who are interested research the history. Because not all the people who watch movies that represent history are interested in history and the main aim is for the consumers to be happy so by doing this, it is a win-win situation. So the movies contain parts of history but we can’t trust it to be completely true as there is much to be taken into consideration.

movies cannot be trusted to represent true history. these days, movie directors are only after one common thing, money. and that means that fact can be twisted into fiction for personal gain. money is the root of all the evil plots and falsehood that shrouds the truth in movies. blinded by the quest for material gain, directors become fabricators of false stories that are a far-cry from the actual truth. the audience is also at fault for the lies in movies. people are only interested in what pleases their eyes and tickles their imaginations. even if the truth was totally twisted and turned but the plot captivating and wonderful, people would swarm to the cinemas for the movie. that is why directors change the truth. so in the end it is a vicious cycle of entertainment and lies.

I think we can trust part of the movie.This is because they will make the story out of history.But they will change part of the story as to make the story more appaling to the audience.So the best to know history is to get a book

Part of the movie might be true cause the original concept of the movie will come from a true history happenings. But some of them were edited, for example the directors made them more exaggerating. So we cannot trust everything a movie tell us. Confirm, there would be some part where it is not true. But part of the movie would be true.

I think that we should not trust too much on movies to represent history. Most movies contain events that are false to make the show interesting and attractive, some parts might show things that are unrealistic but some people might trust it. I believe that some things cannot be trusted in a movie as most directors nowadays are only after audiences. Making it attractive is one thing that allows the company to earn loads of money. I feel that having to search on the internet about histories is much more worth of trust than watching a show, especially a movie

ReplyDeleteI think we should not trust movies to represent true histroy.I say this because many times the directors change many things like the costume worn by the olden people to attract people to watch the movie.When changing these things, there is no point in releasing that movie as it is not true histroy.And also,the directors add in a few things that did not take place at all in the movie.They want to spice up the movie by adding scenes that did not really take place. When the people see the movie, they will think that those things they saw on screen are the events that took place many years ago.So, the people will get to know the wrong histroy.Movies can display history, but are they displaying true history? this is the question we need to ask ourself.And the answer is no. Considering all this, i think that we should not trust moives to display true histroy.

We should not trust movies to represent true history as directors will twist and exaggerate facts to make their movie attractive so that people will buy a ticket to watch the movie. The original sequence of events, clothing of characters and many other facts will be changed to look modern and attractive. The directors would only direct a movie based on a story for inspiration, but it will not be entirely true. Therefore, we should not trust movie directors to produce movies that are entirely based on a real event and represents true history.

No, we cant trust a movie to represent the true history of an event. A movie is usually edited many times, and the true history is often changed. Most of the factors such as the clothings of the actors, the number of actors, the place and time are also important. Most of the time, the directors and producers tend to exaggerate the histories, and thus it may be fake. Additional scenes that did not take place are also added to make the movie more interesting.

In my opinion, the general public cannot trust movies to represent history. There are many factors that will support this opinion, one is that to make the movie attractive to attract viewers to watch. For example,in 300, they could not re-enact a normal violent war, they must exagereate it. In order to make it more interesting, just like in 300, the soldiers wore just a piece of cloth to protect their bodies, smart soldiers will of course wear suits of armour.

ReplyDeleteI think that we can't trust movies totally as sometimes even if they got the whole fact right but surely they would change some of it to make it more interesting so as to attract the maximum viewership. For example in 300, they change it to make it more exciting. However I think that most of it is true so I think it is still better not to trust movies to represent history.
