Did the spartans really wore so little for battle? If not, what did they wear?

    No. they didn't. they wore armour and helmet during war to protect themselves.

    yes they wore so little, that time technology was poor and they were poor, many pictures that we saw, they wore that little clothes which they did not have materials to make the armor at that time too.
