through this PBL 03, i have learn many points such how to use the video camera and the software to edit the clip, how to use the mic and to change the sound effects to make the clip nicer. the PBL also thought us about teamwork, without teamwork, we would not be able to finish the clip. through this PBL, the problems that we have faced is how to edit the clip and to change the sound effects to suit the clip. we also had problems in choosing the characters of the clip and the story line.

I had learn how to use the video camera, for example pressing the different buttons like the zoom in and out button. Then i had learn how to use Ulead video production software. In this software, i learn how to edit and add many different things to the video like different sound effects. The problem we faced during editing is that, we did not know which effects and sound effects to use for the video as different people has different opinion. In the end, everybody agreed to one of the ideas and the problem was solved.

Through this PBL, i learnt video eiditing and using of a video camera in a deeper view even though I have some experience in handling those things. Some additional things are using the microphone to record sounds and voices to be input into the video. We learn to use sound effects and transitions to make the video nicer. We also learn about teamwork. If without this teamwork between us, we would not be able to complete this project successfully. Problems were many but we manages to overcome them. There were problems like not having time to meet up, not being able to borrow the camera and some other like members going overseas especially during the holidays.

From this pbl 3,i have learnt about the camera used to film the video.I learned about the functions and the controls of the camera.I have also learned about how to edit the videos through the software.The difficulties that we have encounted were the time as we took alot of time doing the whole video,we faced alot of problems communicating with each other as some of us have time but some of us don't.Sop we delayed the time for us to do the video,so we have toset a time and finally we found it.We done the video in a short while,and we will do editting soon.

fronm this video production exercise i have learnt how to use a video camera how to edit videos and add special sounds and effects to your video how to operate a microphone and also teamwork ,co-operativeness and hardwork equals to a good video. howver i realised that some of the problems i encountered was i could not meet up with my group so it was a bit troublesome.

From this PBL,I learnt how to use a video camera,edit videos and lastly,add special effects to the video.Originally,my group's story was on the Father and Son,but I was the only boy in the group.We did not really want to change the story as a lot of effort was put into writing the story.However,we still had to change the story to the Father and Daughter.Eventually,everything went well.
ReplyDeleteFrom this video production activity,I have learnt alot of editing skills,how to add music effects,how to add titles and special effects to attract people,motivate people!I learnt teamwork,social skills,how to operate certain equipments and their functions!I faced problems like having difficulty with the cameras,quarrelling over different point of views,and argueing over who should take the roles and what time everyone is free to do the video.We should the problems by teaching each other and clearing our doubts on how to activate the camera and know it's functions;share different points of views and vote who has the best view;share roles and be content with what role we have and perform it well;try to make time for projects as work comes first and we should nopt find excuses to skip our part in the project!

Through this PBL, i learnt how to combine the different videos together to form one final video, which is the end product of our hard work. I also learnt the different views we can use for the video. I also learnt that the story board is important as we would not know the different scenes we are supposed to take without it, we would not be able to expect what to take after another scene. I also learnt how to add sounds and delete the noisy background sound or delete the background colour.
ReplyDeleteWe also faced many problems like our group members not being able to cooperate with each other. We also had difficulties finding actors as our group does not have enough people to cover up all the characters in our video. However , i feel that the PBL helped me to learn many things about videos and learn an extra skill.

After this PBL project, I have learnt many useful things. For example, how to shoot and edit videos, how to function a video camera etc. However, the most important implement on this PBL is teamwork. My media group, MEDIA INSOMNIA, could'nt have finished this without each other. None of us were left out, we all had an important role to play, just like the organs in the human body, forming a functioning system together. We stayed together through thick and thin and finally had the final production. Our labour fruit. We were satisfied with our project as despite the lack of time and the fact that we had to re-do it three times, we finished it. Thus, I can conclude that Teamwork is most important in team projects. A team will solve all the problems together.

What I learnt in PBL 3 is that we nid to have teamwork in the project.if we do not have teamwork,we cannot finish the project on time.The most diffiult challenge in the project that we are facing is that some of the team members could not come for the day that we are going to do project with as they have CCAs on their holiday, but overall we did finish the project and we are happy about it.

From this PBL, i have learnt many things such like how to edit a video like putting in music. However, this was quite hard to grasp as there were many different tools to edit the video and it was very confusing. Also, i learned how to use a video camera to film. Nevertheless, during the filming, i learned that acting is hard, and that people will laugh when they are acting which cause a lot of ng. Also, i realised that teamwork and co-operation is very important. If there is no co-operation between the people, it would be hard to communicate and not a lot of things would be achieved.

ReplyDeleteIn this PBL exercise, I learnt how to use a video camera and I learnt how to use Ulead Videostudio. I learnt how to preview the videos or images I have taken from a camera and how to transfer them to a computer. I also learnt how to make voice-overs and edit videos by cutting the length of the video or adding music to it. However, my group and I met difficulties during filming. As we are not professional actors, we had to retake several scenes many times, but eventually we managed to act out all the scenes successfully.

in this PBL 3,i learned alot more about the devices used to create and edit a video such as learning how to used a video camera,the mic and the software that was used to make the video nicer and more attractive by adding sound effect,background...one of our difficulty is to find a date that everyone can meet up to film the video,but in the end,we made it on an saturday where we put down everything and we meet up together!but we do have other problems like forgetting how to use the camera function,but luckily,we had helpful friends to tell us about it,i really enjoy this PBL.

Through this PBL,i have learnt many things. i have learnt how to use the camera, and do video editing.i have learnt that video editing is not only cutting short the video, but also adding sound effects. i also learnt hoe to operate the camera, for example, zooming in and out, and using different modes of the camera.

I have learn how to use the video editor program,story board and many other useful things that i would normally not learn in others school.Through the video production i learn that teamwork is very important and people views are equally important.Even if u disagree on a viewpoint,u must at least repect it.
ReplyDeleteafter this PBl lesson i learned a lot about how to edit a video like adding music and adding some backgrounds to it. one of the difficulty is that we cant seem to find a day to meet up to do the project. for example like if that day i can come but you cant come, then another day you can come however i cant come. so there will not be a day that everybody can come. and we would also forget how to use a camera or having difficulty using it, therefore thats when friends come in. they will help us or give us advice.
ReplyDeleteThrough this PBL i have learnt about how news reporters have to gather news and compile it into one solid braoadcast. Although this is just a small fraction of what reporters actually do, it does give some insight on their job and i have learnt much about that. I have also learnt about team-work and cooperation in a group. We had to agree on which roles to asign to each and every person and that requires us to think as a group.

through this PBL i have learn a lot of things such as video-editing, new casting and a lot more. We have a problem of acting. We can improve by going to drama classes.
ReplyDeleteI learned how to use and setup the camera. Its a little bit complicated as im new to the digital camera and its like a keyboard with different keys. We had also some difficulties coping with our groupmates. Bin Hao is cute and easy to communicate but as he like to anyhow obey people order and run around.

I had learned how to use a digital camera which i am not very sure before i used that to film a video clip. I also learned skills like editing our video using animation to make our video more nicer, we used the microphone, tripod and more. And i also learned that time is very precious and when we have the time to do, we must cherish the time and use it to fil our video.

From these PBL, i learnt how to use the video camera and also how to upload it to the computer. There are also some problems. Firstly when we film the video, we did not have enough time and we keep changing the story line. Finally, we agreed on a story board. However, after uploading the video in the camera, we found out that ours was not there, so we had to find back the camera and reupload the video.

The lesson was a bit fast paced as we were rushing for time so I had a bit of difficulty trying out some techniques which required a lot of steps.However as I proceeded to try them out again,it was easier to do it.Even if it was hard to get the hang of it at first,I think it was worth it as I learn how to edit,film videos during the video production lessons.

I learnt how to use ulead to edit the video. I also able to film successfully and understand my group members better.I also learnt how to operate the camera properly and set up the tripod stand properly.A few of my group members do not want to be on the camera. We also has problems with trying to find the correct animation and the sound for the video. The background scene also takes quite a lot of time to confirm the actual place.

ReplyDeleteThrough this PBL, I learnt how to use the Ulead video production to edit my videos. It really helps a lot as it can help to add more things or cut away the parts that I do not want and make the video the way that I want. In this PBL, the problem we faced is that we are not able to meet up to shoot the video as all of us are busy during the holiday or the school days. Luckily, we manage to find a day when we can shoot the video in the end. We also managed to complete the video on time as the time given to us to complete the PBL is very suficient.

from this PBL,i learned how to edit video and how to add special effects to the video. also i finally learn how to use a camera which i had never know how to operate 1 for 12 years.although this PBL lesson is fun,we had some problems too like if we had meet up together at a specific time,there would be someone who is busy at that time so we could not do the whole thing as a group.at one time,we finished the video but some how we lost the video and had to do it again and we managed to complete the video on time.
ReplyDeleteThrough this PBL, I have learnt skills to produce a video, such as operating a camcorder and the editing of video through Ulead; trimming, adding effects e.t.c. These skills would be helping me in the future, 'inserting' me with the knowledge.
ReplyDeleteThus, during the video production of 'Family', we of course had encountered problems; teams members were not co-operative enough, and that led to the lacking of time to complete the whole production. However, we did not manage to solve this problem even till the end. In addition, we had also dealt with the usual problem of computer; LAGGY. That had caused us in re-do our video editing through Ulead umpteen times by restart-ing the computer again..and again, the solution was to: RESTART. Futhermore, due to our mis-communication, we could not edit the whole video once more, in some ways or another, and that could not be solve.
In conclusion, I have learnt lots of things, in which I never knew in the past. This PBL is truly, enriching and challenging.

Through this video, I learned how to set up cameras, tripods and how to transfer videos and edit them into the computer. I also learned to use the Ulead video studio which helped my group to add on to sounds, musics and how to get rid of the unwanted videos. The problems we encountered was that we did not have a certain storyboard and we kept changing it. The computer was also laggy so we had to wait a long time to get our video ready. We also did not manage our time well so we had to rush our work whenever we had the time to do the video.

ReplyDeleteThrough this PBL 03 , I have learnt the different techniques to operate the camera in the correct way and to film a proper video together with my classmates . After our product is done(video) , we were to edit our videos by adding in effects , cutting the excessive parts and so on . Under the guidance of our teacher, I am able to edit my video in whichever way I want it to be like adding some effects,music , trim the video ,put voice over after cutting out the background sound which were made during the filming and so on . This PBL also , improved my acting skills . However, difficulties were inevitable and my group was no exception . We had a hard time arranging our hectic scedule and finding time to meet up as our dates clash with one another . Even as such , when we meet up , we tend to procrastinate and turn out chatting , playing more than we film . In addition , we had a hard time finding the actors most people were not unwilling to be filmed . We also had to retake the scenes as the actors would burst out laughing in the inappropriate scenes . The difficulty was finally resolved when we decided that we had to start the filming then in order to deliver the work on time . The actors compromise by controlling their emotions and acted the best that they could present .

From this video production project, i have gained so much knowlegde. i have learnt how to use a camera and shoot some things with it. i also learnt how to edit the video with a software. it was an enjoyable experience. the difficulties i faced was that it was hard to get all the group members to focus on shooting the video. everyone would get distracted with their own matters. in the end, we worked as a team and successfully finished the video.

Through the video production, I have learnt a lot of things, such as video editing and filming, making a storyboard and script. It makes me feel as though I was making a real movie. One thing that is very frustrating is that when we finished the video, we wanted to view the whole video, the computer suddenly went laggy and all I can see is different pictures jumping from here to there. Even though we COULD NOT WORK AS A TEAM we solved our problems and finished the video in time. :)

Through this PBL, i have learnt a lot of skills and knowledge in terms of video editing, filming, storyboarding, and making a script. At first i didnt know about how to edit a video, but through this, i learnt how to even use a video editing software. During the production of this video we had a few problems such as not being able to upload the videos into the computer and setting up the camera. We tried to get help from our classmates to set up the camera. We also faced difficulty in looking for people to act in our video, as no one wanted to be the actors. In the end, with the help of the script, we managed to successfully film the video. I think that this PBL is certainly a very meaningful and worthwile experience for me :)

Through this PBL, i have learned things such as video taking, storyboarding,writing a script and video editing. Next, I learned how to use Ulead Video software. It was difficult to use it at first, but slowly, i managed with the help of my group members. Difficulties faced were that our storyboard had to be redone as it was not applicable with the project. We didnt have the proper materials needed but we managed in the end, we used simpler things.

After our product is done(video) , we were to edit our videos by adding in effects like cutting the excessive parts and soon. I think that this media lesson is worthy. I think the ulead video studio is a great help in editing videos. Without this program, we will not have a perfect video and there will be mistakes and we will have to retake it again and again which will waste alot of time. I also learned that before we take a video, we have to make a storyboard and script. Without those things the video may not be successful too. This whole media lessons made me understand more about the media world.
ReplyDeleteThrough pbl 03 i learnt that how people may edit all kind of things which will be able edit through the software ulead media studio which can make the video even nicer. At first. i thought that making a video will be easy but i was wrong it wasn't as easy as i thought to be. We have to do alot of preparation before doing video.I learnt from the lesson that with the software neede we will be able to trim the video away from excesive part add sound effects contrasts and so on .
