I do not think so as Channel New Asia has reporters all around worldwide to report the latest news and they do not report the news that is from the internet as there is a lot of fake information in the internet so if they do not want to be scam,so they do not take information in the internet.when the reporters in the Channel new asis report the current news, they looked so serious when they report the news,so I can conclude that the news that Channel New asia report are unbiased.

I do not think that channel news asia broadcast is biased in its reporting. Channel news asia has news from all over the world and cannot afford to be biased or else the whole world shall be after Channel News Asia. Reporters have a code of ethics to follow and I am sure that they have high moral values and will not be so evil as to distort the truth. Although there are many reports, there is only one truth and I am sure the reporters will try there best to seek it out. In the past, there have been reports of reporters accepting bribes and changing the truth. However, this Singapore and corruption comes with a high price, thus reporters will be too afraid to let their greed show.

No, i dont think that channel news asia is bisaed in its reporting. It is because, channel news asia has rporters all around the world to receive the latest news. As channel news asia is a rather famous news broadcast, it cannot afford to be bisaed as if they report false information, they can be sued. It may be true that some of the information may not be confirm, it is still put as 'assumtion'. hence, i do not believe that channel news asia is bsaed.

i think that channel news asia over the years was not biased in its reporting . i say this because channel news asia's news come from all over the world , They cannot afford to be biased as it is quite famous in Singapore. If they are biased and only show the news of the happenings in Singapore , they are not following Singapore's Journalists Ethics and can be sued for accepting bribery. Thus i do not think that they are biased.

ReplyDeleteI think that Channel News Asia is unbiased in its reporting as the news that they give comes from sources from all over the world. As the sources come from all over the world, there may be different people with different opinions and different points of view. Seeing that the Channel News Asia repoters get their information that way, i say that they are unbiased in their reporting. It is impossible for them to be biased as there are many opinions given and they did not take any sides while doing the reporting. If they do that, then not many people will be watching the Channel News Asia news anymore as they will think it is unfair. Thus i do not think that the Channel News Asia reporting is biased.

I think that the Channel News Asia broadcast was not biased as they report the latest news and past news to remind people of certain things,precautions and values.They accepted everyone's different opinions,thinkings,observations and shared with the whole world but do not share those that is not real as people might get cheated or harmed.Moreover,the broadcast is a popular news channel which everyone trusts and tunes in to for greater and many more news happening around the world and of course they do not want to lose their popularity and face.People can also get to know different people's point of views and think in another way or even out of the box.They must have worked very hard to get the news before other journalists did and i trust that they did not bribe or steal other's info as they looked serious and there are even evidences and source of their information and knowledge regarding the matter.They will also put an "assumption" or conclusion to give people a more better idea of the happenings and let them know the truth and not keep to themselves and i can see that they have put in alot of effort and time in preparing for the reports and information!

I think that Channel News Asia broadcast has been unbiased in their reporting as Channel News Asia does not only broadcast in Singapore, but also the whole Asia, so they have to be unbiased in their reporting or they will receive many complains and arguements will start. I think that Channel News Asia is unbaised in its reporting.Since it is well-known in Singapore,reporting fake information would damage their reputation very badly.Not only Channel News Asia,other channels are also reporting about the incident.They interviewed the witnesses and all the witnesses provided the same infomation but i think they need to check whether the information is true or not.The people might be bribe from someone who wanted to attract attention.I also trust that the journalist had tried their best to find out the truth so in believed that they are unbaised in reporting.

I think that Channel News Asia is not biased in their reporting because if they are bias, their reputation will be greatly affected. So when alot of people is watching, once they found out that their reporting is not the truth, all the people are most likely to complain or sue them. the Channel News Asia have the proffesional way of reporting news because they will go and interview the witnesses or passerbys who had witnessed the incident before reporing on the television or to the people in Asia. So i trust that the journaliasts have tried their best to find out the truth of the incident without using ways like bribing and i think they are unbiased in the reporting.

I, personally think that Channel News Asia is not biased in its reporting. Take the NTU student committing suicide after stabbing his professor incident for example, one of the NTU students, Muhammad Iqbal said that he saw the professor ushered into the ambulance and there were bandages at the chest level and his arm and the professor was being stabbed at his back reported by Channel News Asia. Therefore, now I can conclude that Channel News Asia is not biased in its reporting as the professor was being stabbed at his back; at the back on the back of his chest level. What Mr Lam said earlier before was not true (No offence) :) Besides, Channel News Asia is a major Asian news broadcaster with programmes telecast to more than 20 Asian countries and territories. If they have been biased in its reporting, it will be greatly ruining, damaging and affecting its own reputation. So, they would most likely not bias in its reporting.

I think the Channel Newsasia are not biased in its reporting. They are well-known all over the country and also if they were to be biased they will have broke the Singapore journalist ethics.It is very unlikely for them to be biased as they are really well-known.

ReplyDeletei dun think that channel news asia is being biased to any party, as millions of people gets news from channel news asia, so it would be extremely easy for someone to spot mistakes and find out that they are biased or not. i find that they also cannot be biased as people would definitely object,afecting their reputation, causing people to start to doubt weather the news they are reading is true.

ReplyDeleteNo, I do not think that the information on channel news asia is baised. Since it is a channel that is broadcasted worldwide, they cannot broadcast false information as if it were to be leaked out, people would not trust the channel anymore and have to face the law as it is a crime to provide false information to the people. It would also be unfair as they broadcasted all the crimes that had happened and does not incluede a certain crime as the person that commited it might be someone important and did not want to offend the person even if he/she had done something wrong. They should know that providing false information would cause them to lose money as well as since the people do not want to watch the channel anymore, Mediacorp might not want to help them broadcast the channel anymore which would cause the people working for channel news asia to be jobless. I do not think the people would want to risk their jobs just to broadcast one false information to the people. Therefore, i do not think channel news asia is baised.

I do not think that the information on channel news asia is biased. This is because many people around the world get news from channel news asia. However, if they give fake information, they may be sued and this will also affect their reputaion. They should also check with the witnesses to confirm that the information is true. Channel news asia is also famous around asia so they would proboably ensure that the information they give is true. Morever, they collect sources all over the world, so it would really be unlikely that they are biased. Thus, I can conclude that channel news asia was not biased in their broadcast.

I think that Channel NewsAsia can be biased at times in its reporting.One good example of how bias it is could be the NTU stabbing incident.Channel NewsAsia most probably made some mistakes in their report,causing never-ending conflicts to circulate.
ReplyDeleteMaybe,there are also times when they broadcast news without conflicts or problems.Following the Singapore Journalist Ethics,journalists are not supposed to report on false news as most of them are very famous.

ReplyDeleteNo,I do not think that Channel New Asia broadcast has been unbiased in its reporting.I think judging by the fact that countless people are watching the news everyday,they could not afford to make this mistake of being biased.There would be a huge loss to Channel News Asia if news of it being biased reach the people's ears as people would think that the news are not trustworthy and would lose trust in broadcast,thus switching to another broadcast instead of Channel News Asia.In some news broadcasted,tere are several people being interviewed to share their views,thus showing that they are not biased.Being such a popular channel,I do not think that they would accept bribes and be biased,futhermore,not everyone would betray their values for greed.

i think the Channel New Asia broadcast has been very, very, very unbaised in its reporting as this is the news u know!They cannot just anyhow talk about things which are not true or whatever which they are not sure of.The news must always be right as many people from all parts of singapore watches the news and if it gives fake informations, people may think it is true and start spreading about it and everything will be chaotic.

I do not think so. as they use interviews in order to show us what the eyewitness is saying and let us come to a conclusion ourselves.and they also show the scene of the crime to prove that what they are saying is not subjective.

ReplyDeleteThey get their information before they report it and broadcast it. So when alot of people is watching, once they found out that their reporting is not the truth, all the people are most likely to complain or sue them. the Channel News Asia have the proffesional way of reporting news because they will go and interview the witnesses or passerbys who had witnessed the incident before reporing on the trust that the journaliasts have tried their best to find out the truth of the incident television or to the people in Asia. I think that Channel New Asia broadcast has been unbiased in their reportings. This is because, their information derived from people over the world. If they report fake news, people would notice for sure, and it would definitely be very chaotic if that happens. In addition, their programme is broadcasted through the world. If they report fake news, their reputation is sure to be smeared, and the number of viewers would surely decrease. In the end, Channel News Asia would be the one suffering losses, so why would they be biased?

ReplyDeleteI do not think that they are biased in their reporting.If they actually broadcast fake news, they might have to face the law and their ratings might drop. As many view this newschannel, it might be a chaotic situation if people actually discovers that the news is fake. They are unbiased and relies those information they get from the journalists, but maybe because the journalist accepts a bribe from one side of the party asking the journalist to write somthing to push the other party to a corner, the newschannel will get into trouble too. They are unable to express their own views towards this interview and comments are all fair. So, I conclude that channel NewsAsia is an unbiased newchannel.

No, I don't think the ChannelNewsAsia are bias in their reporting as the news agency had been recieving the lastest news from reporters and witness whom had informed them.If they had been giving false reports, people with the real information can just sue them whenever they want as they were giving wrong information to the public which might lead them to a misunderstanding.Thats why i thinks that the report in ChannelNewAsia is not bias.
